Confusion feeds my creativity. My work presents the webs of my thoughts (the internal structure of the psyche) and my interactions with the “other” as a body (my life-experiences as a person in society). I attempt to make physical the intricacies of mind. My work speaks of the individual's position within a system. I continually represent a body that is lost in the vastness of things but is still bound to the concrete. This body's form is ambivalent and non-autonomous. This visceral and cerebral contemplation is birthed in the process of interacting with materials. My work is made intuitively. My expressions are formed in the conflict between containment/structure and chaos/fragility.
