Sarah Pupo vit et travaille à Montréal, Québec. Son travail intègre les aspects de la peinture et du dessin, l'installation et les techniques d'animation aprises de manière autodidacte. Son approche à créer des choses privilégie l'intuition, le rituel, la pensée associative et le flux du hasard et du contrôle. Pupo a exposé dans des galeries et des centres d'artistes autogérés localement et internationalement. Ses projets récents incluent une exposition solo chez articule (Montréal), la participation au Symposium d'art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul et des résidences en Islande, en Finlande et au Yukon.

 

Sarah Pupo lives and works in Montreal, Quebec. Her work integrates aspects of painting and drawing, installation and self-taught, provisional animation techniques. Her approach to making things prioritizes intuition, ritual, associative thinking and the flux of chance and control. Pupo has exhibited at galleries and artist run centres locally and internationally. Recent projects include a solo exhibition at articule (Montreal), participation in the Symposium of Contemporary Art in Baie-Saint-Paul and residencies in Iceland, Finland and the Yukon.
